Tools: Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marmoset Toolbag, Houdini

A personal project based on concept art by Charles Lee. The design caught my eye. There’s a weight and tension to it that felt like a good test of hard-surface modeling alongside cloth simulation. I modeled the crane in Blender, created procedural materials in Substance Designer, and ran the cloth elements through Houdini to get physically accurate drapery and folds.
