This session is a hands-on look at the Houdini-based workflow I built for optimizing immersive environments on Apple Vision Pro. Centered around a confined 3-meter viewing region (the Immersive Boundary), it focuses on preserving the look of a high-end render—optimized to run in real-time.
I walk through over a dozen procedural tools designed for:
- Adaptive mesh reduction
- Triangle occlusion culling
- Billboard generation
- UV projection
- Scene partitioning for efficient USD export
The demo uses a cinematic moon environment to show how a 100M+ polygon scene can be transformed into something real-time ready.
